The feral pigeon reproduces
at an alarming rate, especially when it is well fed and can find shelter.
It’s mess carries all sorts of diseases and is capable of destroying
masonry through the acid found in the guano. Fouling of pavements, private
residences, fire escapes, etc are common place. All measures taken throughout
the world have failed to stop the increase in numbers of the feral pigeon.
